Monet, la Senna e le Ninfee at the Santa Giulia Museum, Brescia, Italy

The exhibition, Monet, the Seine and the Waterlilies, is expected to be one of the most popular exhibitions in Italy this autumn. Focusing on Claude Monet’s famous paintings of flowers and water, it takes place at Brescia’s Santa Giulia Museum, which has recently been restored. The exhibition runs from 23 October 2004 until 23 March 2005.

The audio tour for this extraordinary show, produced by Antenna Audio, includes commentaries on a selection of paintings chosen by the exhibition’s curator, Marco Goldin. The tour tells the story of Monet’s involvement with the French Impressionist movement, and takes visitors on a fascinating journey along Monet’s Seine, a journey enhanced by relevant music and evocative sound effects.
