We are looking to hire a Site Manager, London Sites who will be responsible for ensuring that our site operations are the best they can be, and that revenues are maximised at all their sites to the satisfaction of the client and Antenna Audio. The role requires a person with exceptional sales and marketing skills and excellent staff management ability based on solid experience. This person will oversee training and motivation on their sites.
The job reports to the Client Service Manager. Normal working hours in this position are 9am to 6pm, with an hour free at lunchtime.
Key duties include:
Maximise revenue on staffed sites through the creation of strong retail initiatives and proven sales techniques. Active selling.
Manage shrinkage procedures on site.
Ensure that there is a sufficient supply of machines and headsets.
Conducting the recruitment process of sales staff ensuring that procedures are followed correctly in accordance of Antenna human resources policy.
Ensure that all sales staff are fully trained and developed in order to carry out their duties according to agreed policies and procedures.
Take responsibility, where appropriate, for appraisals, counselling, grievances and disciplinary matters in accordance with Antenna policy and procedures.
Monitor sickness, punctuality and general performance of all sales staff.
Liaise directly with difficult customers and deal with complaints as appropriate, in line with Antenna guidelines.
Manage the salaries and overheads budget relevant to the operations, ensure that staffing and expenditure levels reflect the needs of the business at all times, falling within budget and making savings where possible.
Ad hoc duties as required.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics, education, experience and training:
BA or equivalent.
Three years retail and/or sales experience.
Three years staff management experience, including customer service training
Language skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
