Three Antenna Audio Productions Garner Interpretive Media Awards from the National Association for Interpretation

Awards mark 11th year in a row that Antenna Audio tours have placed in annual competition

Sausalito, CA – Antenna Audio (www.antennaaudio.com), the global leader in audio and multimedia interpretation, is pleased to announce that three of its clients, the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy (for the Alcatraz Cellhouse tour), and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, have received Interpretive Media Awards from the National Association for Interpretation. The Buffalo Bill Historical Center's iScout Multimedia Guide won first place in the multimedia category, representing the first time a multimedia tour has placed in the competition, and the audio tours of the Alcatraz Cellhouse and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center won second and third place, respectively, in the audio category.

"We are proud to have partnered with our clients to create these outstanding tours," said Sarah Dines, Managing Director, Antenna Audio - Americas. "The awards are a testament to our creative process and the collaborative efforts of a large group of people, from our dedicated clients to our talented production teams. Our goal with any tour is always to create the best possible visitor experience, not to win awards, but we are honored and humbled to receive this recognition."

The Interpretive Media Awards were presented at a ceremony on November 8th during the National Interpreters' Workshop in Wichita, Kansas. Maryanne Andrus, Curator of Education at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, was on hand to accept the award for the iScout Multimedia Guide, and Jessica Lagala, Business Development Manager at Antenna Audio, accepted the awards on behalf of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.

More than 25 judges were involved in the awards competition, evaluating entries on the quality of interpretation, program design, writing/editing/continuity, and implementation.
