(SAN FRANCISCO, CA) – June 19, 2008 – Frida Kahlo’s acclaimed works pay a visit to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) for an exhibition from June 14 through September 28. Antenna Audio, global leader in audio and multimedia interpretation, offers it’s highly praised Discovery Audio Multimedia Tour in accompaniment to the exhibition. The self-guided multimedia tour complements Kahlo's paintings and personal photos with video and audio commentary by the exhibition's co-curators, artists, musicians, and scholars.
Organized in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the artist's birth, Frida Kahlo is the first major Kahlo exhibition in the United States in nearly fifteen years. SFMOMA is the show’s last stop in a line of museums including in the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.
The Discovery Audio Multimedia Tour for the Frida Kahlo exhibit is featured on the XP-Vision Player, a handheld device exclusive to Antenna Audio. Special features include a touch-sensitive, transflective LCD screen which is easy to use with the provided stylus; a lightweight, ergonomic design comfortable for any user; and high quality interactive games, video and audio.
The Discovery Audio Multimedia Tour is available for a price of $3 and is narrated in English, Spanish and French. The Frida Kahlo exhibition runs June 14-September 28 at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, 151 Third St., San Francisco.
