Antenna and Node in multi-media partnership

Audio and multi-media interpretation group Antenna Audio has signed an agreement with Node to licence the latter's location-based media platform for use in prestigious museums and galleries across the world. It will also, in a world first, manufacture multi-media players specifically designed for the cultural sector.

Node's web-based technology platform builds, stores and then distributes context -sensitive multi-media tours to hand held players on a particular site. These can be edited in real time from any web-enabled computer. The player, conceived and designed by Node and built by Antenna, will be known as XPvision? and joins Antenna's X-plorer? group of audio players. Location-aware, it will track and analyse visitor behaviour on site and is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use.

A prototype of the new device will be available for demonstration during August.
