We are looking to hire a Regional Technician.This role is mainly based at Auschwitz, Poland and key aspects of the role are:Key duties include:
Deployment and ongoing maintenance of audio and multimedia technologies across the region, whilst offering remote support for clients.
Combining electronic and computer technology, with client facing and resource management skills.
Oversee and engage in installation, ongoing maintenance and de-installation of tour equipment. This includes field test and field survey for installation requirements. 50%
Program/upload content to audio and audio-visual equipment as required 20%
Coordinate all project requirements with the Client and Retail Operations/Account Manager in co-operation with the project team 10%
Engage in and help to co-ordinate transfers of all equipment to and from the region with the Logistics department, including packing, unpacking, cleaning and maintaining related transfer and equipment information in the company database. 10%
Provide reports - analysis and documentation on the status of projects and equipment as requested, e.g. hours worked, quantity of repairs, repairs chargeable to clients without maintenance contracts, equipment faults, etc. 10%
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics, education, experience and training:
Ability to work with a high level of independent time management and prioritization skills
Some exposure to supervisory and training responsibilities, where assistants are employed in the region.
Proven previous experience in electronic and mechanical troubleshooting as well as repair
Demonstrate a working knowledge of:
Internet & networking technologies, architecture and protocols, major operating systems
Knowledge of WIFI standards, security and devices
Excellent time and workflow management skills
Strong influencing and communication skills with previous experience in developing and maintaining customer-relations
Prior demonstrable experience of managing priorities to meet deadlines
Ability to perform well under pressure
Flexibility required with regards to global impact of role and business needs
Must have business level spoken English. Also previous experience of working in an English speaking work environment would be advantageous
