Cell Phone Tour goes for the “Weird and Wonderful”
This spring visitors to the Los Angeles Zoo can explore the habits and habitats of the “Weird and Wonderful” residents with a fascinating and informative mobile audio tour created by Antenna Audio.
Located in historic Griffith Park, “Weird and Wonderful” is the Zoos’ exhibit focusing on fourteen of their most unique residents. The Antenna Audio cell phone tour takes visitors up close and personal with these wonderful animals - providing intriguing facts from how staff cares for the animals, to how the zoo is working to remove them from the endangered species list. Features of the tour include interviews with the Zoo’s experts such as Susie Kasielke, Curator of Birds, Ian Recchio, Curator of Reptiles and Amphibians and Robin Parker, Senior Animal Keeper. The Antenna Audio tour is available via an online download or on your cell phone at the Zoo.
The Ridgestone Foundation sponsored the thirty-minute tour, which is available in English and Spanish.
